research interests
shock consolidation of nano-sized or fine-grain powders for fabrication of bulk composites with extraordinary properties.
fabrication, characterization and evaluation of structural energetic materials (based on intermetallics).
fabrication of multilayer composites, laminates and transition joints by explosive welding.
probing pressure-volume compressibility characteristics of metallic powders under various conditions, and development of the equation for predicting the hugoniot of preheated powders in full pressure range (>1gpa).
